I’m loving the use of gears on this little mecha by Marco Marozzi!

ska2d2 has built another great diespunk flyer.

The brick-built striping and all those engine details! A great fighter by Sylon-tw.

zi zy is the master of these little mecha, constantly innovative and surprising. I love the tracked heels!

What a great crab-like mecha here by Benjamin Cheh Creations.

Lu Sim really knocked it out of the park with this menacing black mecha. The translucent flourescent orange highlights really work!

I mean, just look at those awesome swords!

I’ve been a fan of the Friends line for a while now. Every season, Lego releases new and amazing sets in these pink boxes. The elements alone are worth the purchase (and oh so perfect for drafting). Needless to say, when I saw pictures of this set surface on the internet, I began to salivate.

Actually a few days worth, but I’ve been busy…

I love the stripped down simplicity of this microscale catamaran by TenorPenny.

I don’t know where 62778grenouile is going with this scene, but the use of unusual textures is wonderful (check out the backside of those baseplates).

I’m a huge fan of vertical greenspaces and this one has been beautifully rendered by Jesper Girl.

Simon Liu has mixed TARS and Smile Space and everything about it is right.

This is just about the platonic ideal of Droneuary: tiny, greebly, and all business. Expertly built by Titolian.

There is something fitting about building shipping containers with Lego. Wami Delthorn’s little freighter is a lot of fun.

It is Droneuary again in my feeds are full of wonderful little guys like this one by Forest King.

This might just be an LDD wip, but I’m looking forward to where O0ger is going with this one.

I’ve been excited about the wave of new Ideas sets based on original concepts, and the latest Birds set is no exception. I had voted for the set, so I was very excited when it got the requisite 10,000 votes and was approved to become an official set. I braved the mad crowds at my local Lego store on New Years Day and bought myself a copy.
