100 Days of Trees
This was a hard summer for me. I had (and am continuing to have) personal struggles that have dragged on my LEGO® motivation. The one thing that I kept a hold of was my tiny little trees. I posted a hundred trees on Instagram over the course of 100 days. Continue reading 100 Days of Trees

Thunderbolt by Moko
As usual, Moko knocks it out of the park with this hulking black mecha. The densely detailed body implies a palpable sense of mass.
MOTH by Oscar Cederwall
I really like the ‘realistic’ design on this SHIP. Oscar Cederwall managed the subdued color blocking and complex brick-built stripes beautifully!
DA3 Huey by Douglas Hughes
The mix of color and chunky sculpting on Douglas Hughes‘ little helicopter are really satisfying.
Antigona Class Light Frigate by Chris Perron
This striking SHIP has it all: color-blocking, unusual shaping, subtle asymmetry. Chris Perron has outdone himself with this lovely model.
Apple Park by Spencer_R
This model is simply breath-taking! Spencer_R has built a micro-scale masterpiece. Make sure to click through for all the photos.
Full Steam Maersk Pier by Markus Ronge
Wow! Such a perfect departure from the over-used browns in most steampunk builds. Markus Ronge really captures the Victorian decadence!
Alpha Team Helicopter 2.0 by Chris Perron
An awesome reimagining of a classic Alpha Team set. The color blocking and throwback elements are good, but where Chris Perron really shines is the sculpting, with curved and angular elements working together perfectly!
