Micropolis Monday: Blue Houses

Sometimes, I developer will buy two lots and redivided them into three. This kind of thing happens a fair amount in Portland, so I figured that I should represent another kind of urban infill.

front

Three identical houses in a row. Not quite townhouses or a row house, but close. Each house squeezed onto a lot that is a bit less than a twelfth of an acre. No room for front yards.

back

Pushing the houses so far forward leaves just enough room for fenced yards in the back. The red backdoors are just a quirky little detail. that I like.

plan

Not a bad use of space. Three 2000 square-foot houses on a bit less than a quarter acre.

A simple trio of builds, tucked into a single module.

Keep building and enjoy!
